Evelyn Clarke

Evelyn brings over fifteen years of teaching experience to her work as a dance teacher, having trained from the age of three under the guidance of the late Sandra Breen OAM. She holds a COMDANCE Teaching Diploma in Modern Jazz and a Teaching Certificate in Theatrical & Performing Arts. Alongside her dance teaching, Evelyn works as a General Practitioner, which supports a clear, informed and holistic approach in the studio. As a founder of Kindred Dance Collective, she will be teaching students from Juniors through to Adults this year.

Sylvia Goring

Sylvia has over fifteen years of teaching experience across both dance studio and school settings and began her dance training at the age of five under the guidance of the late Sandra Breen OAM. She holds a COMDANCE Teaching Diploma in Theatrical & Performing Arts and a Teaching Certificate in Modern Jazz, along with a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Sylvia also holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma of Education, supporting her work across a range of learning environments. As a founder of Kindred Dance Collective, she is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for young people through dance.

Louise Parke

Louise is a dance teacher with over ten years of experience, having trained from the age of three under the guidance of the late Sandra Breen OAM. She holds a COMDANCE Teaching Diploma in Modern Jazz and Tap, along with a Teaching Certificate in Theatrical & Performing Arts. Louise brings a thoughtful balance of creativity and structure to her teaching and also holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), supporting her strong organisational and professional approach. As a founder of Kindred Dance Collective, she looks forward to teaching across all ages this year, from Kindy Dance through to Adults.

Lucy Rose

Miss Lucy began her dancing journey at the age of 3, training under the late Sandra Breen OAM. She has since completed her COMDANCE Teaching Diploma in Modern Jazz and has been teaching dance since 2022. Alongside her dance career, Miss Lucy recently graduated with a dual degree in Business and Design and now works full-time in marketing at a consulting firm, bringing creativity, organisation, and strong communication skills into her teaching.

 

Miss Lucy will be teaching a mix of classes from Kindy Dance through to Adult Jazz and is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment. She is excited to be starting at Kindred Dance Collective this year and looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm and passion with students throughout the year.

Patrick Hassall

Patrick is a passionate and dedicated tap dance teacher, obtaining his COMDANCE Tap Teaching Diploma at the age of 20. He began his dance journey at 5 years old, under the guidance of the late Miss Sandra Breen OAM at the Southern Academy of Dance, where he successfully completed his COMDANCE exams in Theatrical & Performing Arts and Tap. Outside of dance, Patrick recently graduated with Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours Class 1) and is passionate about applying focus, creativity, and curiosity across both academic and creative pursuits, including dance. As a teacher, Patrick is committed to instilling a passion for tap while encouraging students to develop their skills to the highest level. With a patient, encouraging and supportive teaching style, Patrick strives to create a positive environment where every student feels confident and comfortable. He is excited about being a part of Kindred Dance Collective and can’t wait to teach the next generation of tappers.

Bec McMahon

Miss Bec is an enthusiastic and supportive teacher of dance. She began her dancing journey under the late Sandra Breen OAM at age 5, and obtained her COMDANCE Teaching Diploma in Modern Jazz at age 21 while also completing her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from QUT. Miss Bec is currently an Arts Specialist teacher at a local primary school and has an immense passion for Musical Theatre. As a teacher, she promotes equality and safety for all students to learn and grow in their skills. Miss Bec is looking forward to sharing her love of musical theatre with the students of Kindred Dance Collective, teaching our littlest students in Sing & Dance and our Juniors in Musical Theatre.
